This privacy policy sets out how Furapy Veterinary Physiotherapy uses and protects any information that you give Furapy Physiotherapy personally or when you use this website. This is designed to help you understand what kind of personal information is collected in regards to our veterinary physiotherapy services, what it is used for and how it is stored.

In order for Furapy Ltd. to provide a thorough veterinary physiotherapy service for your animal(s) we will collect personal data to enable this service to be provided. This will be collected either verbally, in writing, electronically via email or other forms of messaging i.e mobile phone text messaging. This data will only be shared with your animals’ Veterinary Practice to obtain consent for treatment as it is a legal requirement. A veterinary physiotherapy report may be sent to your veterinary surgeon or para-professionals, but your permission will be obtained prior to this. Any personal data will be kept on a password protected computer, secure online platform, or in a secure filling cabinet. We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we will take all appropriate technical and organisational steps to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, availability and authenticity of your data and the information we collect.
Why do we need your Personal Data?

Your personal data is required to identify the animal to be treated to the Veterinary Surgeon.

It is also needed to enable me to keep detailed records about your animal(s) and their treatment as required by insurance.

To maintain the standards specified by professional organisations : National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP) and Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP).
Data Retention:
All data will be retained for 7 years after the last dated treatment of your animal(s) as specified insurance providers and professional organisations.
Your Rights:
Individuals are provided with legal rights governing the use of their personal data. These grant individuals the right to understand what personal data relating to them is held, for what purpose, how it is collected and used, with whom it is shared, where it is located, to object to its processing, to have the corrected if inaccurate, to take copies of the data and to place restrictions on its processing. Individuals can also request the deletion of their personal data. We will never sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties. We will only pass on your personal information if we are required by law to do so.
