TERMS AND CONDITIONS
-
In accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, Veterinary physiotherapists are required to receive referral from a veterinary surgeon prior to any treatment of conditions. Therefore, all clients MUST have veterinary referral prior to treatment. If this has not been directly referred to Furapy Veterinary Physiotherapy, then the company will contact your veterinary clinician.
-
Clients for maintenance physiotherapy where treatment of a condition is not required, will not require veterinary referral, but MUST be registered to a veterinary practice.
-
Furapy Veterinary Physiotherapy has the right to refuse treatment of a patient if the animal requires further veterinary assessment, acquires a new condition outside of the referral, or if the animal is considered a danger to the therapist. In these circumstances, the client will still be liable to pay for the session booked.
-
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to appointment to avoid charges. If cancellations are made after this period, the client will be liable to pay 50% of their session charge. Charges will not be incurred if medical emergency, illness or contagious disease is presented in the client or their animal.
-
If you are claiming through your insurance company, payments must be made to Furapy Veterinary Physiotherapy upfront. Claims are to be made to your insurance company through claim forms where the insurance company will re-imburse you as per their conditions. Furapy Veterinary Physiotherapy is unable to direct session charge to your insurer.
-
Payments are to be made by cash or card unless stated otherwise by Furapy Veterinary Physiotherapy. Any bank transfer payments are required to be paid 7 days post session. Payments made after this period will incur a late payment charge of £5 per week.
-
Clients are responsible for control of their animal during physiotherapy sessions. Please make sure you have sufficient equipment to restrain your pet for assessment and treatment. Any damage to physiotherapy equipment caused by your pet will incur a charge of £20 for exercise equipment and £60 for electrical equipment.
-
Furapy Veterinary Physiotherapy may use images of your pet in session for social media and advertising purposes. If you would like your pet not to be included in this, please notify your therapist during the session.
By confirming your appointment, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions stated above.
